WHO IS BEHIND THE DOOR OF MUUS.LV?
Hello!I'm Keita Megija - the creator of Muus.lv!
Behind every business, big or small, is someone who makes it BE. It is important for me to build a connection with those who support me and want to be a part of Muus.lv, so I want to introduce myself and maybe be an inspiration to someone who is afraid or not sure that his dream can be realized.
My life started in the countryside, near the town of Salacgrīva. Until I was 15 years old, I enjoyed the magic of the countryside - I swam in the small river, caught crayfish, herded cows, went on adventures with the other kids, and also did various pranks for which I sometimes had to pay dearly. Later my life continued directly in Salacgrīva, feeling the sea breeze every day and enjoying the small town's amenities, which at that time seemed great and necessary. Thanks to a great coincidence of circumstances, which at first seemed like a big challenge, but now as an invaluable relief, I now live in Ādaži.
If I had to describe myself in a few words, it would be difficult to do. I think that I am best described by writers Rainis quote: ''What changes, endures!'' In my life, everything must be organized, clear, and I will look for a solution in every situation in order to get out of deep and not so deep pits.
Muus.lv or initially the idea of making candles, came quite by accident, I don't even remember how it started, I just remember that another idea came to my mind and I quickly started ordering materials. I have expressed myself creatively before too - I have sewn bags, created Christmas decorations, made cakes, photographed, created various digital materials and worked in various jobs. As already mentioned above, the word "change" describes me the best, it is difficult for me to do the same thing for a long time, I need excitement, challenges, but in a completely unexplainable way, candle making did not want to leave my heart and mind. Starting from October 2021, I felt like I stuck to the idea that I want more from it - I want to make candles, this process is so calming and gives me the feeling that it is meant for me.
That is why I have devoted 2 years to the development of this business, designing the website, creating the visual design of the products, looking for materials, new ideas and dreaming of the day when I can share it with others.
I am very happy that I have succeeded and I really hope that I will be able to give you a piece of myself. In the future, I also plan to share what my challenges were, my fears and where I got the courage to create a brand, so you can follow us on social platforms and maybe share your feelings too!
